The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences would like to invite you to the birthday celebration of the year! This year the first Solutions Seminar of the semester will be "The Morrill Act's Birthday Celebration!" This year marks the Morrill Act's 150th birthday. This event will be held on Thursday, September 27th from 5:30-7:30pm. In honor of the Morrill Act, which provided the University of Florida and other land grant universities with the basic principles by which they were founded upon, Dr. Teri Balser, Dean of CALS and Dr. Kirby Barrick, Agricultural Education and Communication Professor will be presenting on the history of the Morrill Act. We will meet in McCarty Hall C Room 100. Refreshments and cake will be served from 5:30-6pm. Presentations will begin immediately following. There will be opportunities to win CALS doorprizes. We hope to see you all there!
